There are plenty of beautiful secluded trails on this small village that attract the attention of tourists. This 16 km road from Rakwana to Suriyakanda is located on the eastern border of Sinharaja. It can be identified as an area with a very mild climate as well as a foggy environment surrounded by beautiful mountains.

This route through the mountains and waterfalls across the Springwood Estate is sometimes referred to as the Little Eighteen Bend. The road is shaped by 10 elbow bends in the middle of tall Russa trees.

With beautiful tea plantations and steeply sloping hills, this road offers a beautiful view of the fresh water flowing from the natural small streams on either side. Also, after passing Rakwana, you can see Hadapan Falls as well as several other small waterfalls and water pools.

Suriya Kanda and that road is a haven for motorcyclists and youngsters. This mountain range is surrounded by a dewy environment, often covered with dewdrops, but it is also associated with a large number of murders believed to have been committed by Jepsen in 1994. Suriyakanda are still silent souls.Some believe that Asena is a desolate place with the lamentation of the wind and an area where those spirits appear as ghosts at night.
