Description
We loved thos waterfall the most on our travels in Sri Lanka. Not too touristy, beautiful, just a 15 minute hike from the road, and my kids loved the enormous splash you have to climb over some rocks to get to the water at the fall
Ramboda is a beautiful destination with many waterfalls and a beautiful view extending towards Kotmale valley, having Kotmale Reservoir and Mahaweli Maha Seya.
Ramboda Falls is situated in Pussellawa in the Nuwara Eliya district. It is 109 meters high and is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and is definitely worth seeing.
For those who love nature and wouldn’t mind a trek, there’s a 2 km trail uphill that leads to this amazing site.
If you are a bird watcher, making your way to the waterfall offers so many opportunities to spot a few rare birds in the trees chirping away at their merry song. If you are ready for some adventure, put on your hiking shoes and set off on an awe-inspiring journey.
