Description
The Dondra Head Lighthouse, also known as Point Dondra Lighthouse, is situated at the southernmost tip of Sri Lanka, near the town of Matara. It marks the point where the Indian Ocean meets the Bay of Bengal, making it a strategically significant location for maritime navigation.
