Description
Bomburu Ella, located in Sri Lanka’s Central Highlands, is a captivating cascade surrounded by lush greenery. The falls, plummeting from a height of 50 meters, create a mesmerizing spectacle. Visitors can take a nature walk through the forested area to reach this enchanting natural wonder, offering a serene escape.
Amazing view. This is known as the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka. After a hike about 2 km from the vehicle park you can reach the destination. At first there was a stairway. You can see the beautiful cascades while hiking into the waterfall.
To reach the other side of the waterfall you have to cross the water path. If the water level is high you can’t cross it. However the view was scenic near the waterfall. There were small shops along the hike. The route to the waterfall has scenic views as well. It’s better to visit in the early morning cause the crowd is less.
